Originally designed in collaboration with James Hoffman for installation in a concept store and coffee expos, the SP9 (Splurty)
has since gone on to cult status in the specialty coffee world. The SP9 automates the pour over process while allowing the barista to dial in the settings for any coffee, all while retaining some of the theatrics with its clear recirculating tube.
